On Campus: Wayne State University

The main office for Hillel of Metro Detroit is located at Wayne State University in Suite 667 of the Student Center Building (directions below). HMD at Wayne State University serves both undergraduate and graduate students. HMD is associated with both the Jewish Law Students Association and the Jewish Medical Students Association at Wayne State University.

HMD is a great place to visit! Come check out what we have:

• huge lounge (for studying or just hanging out)
• conference room (check out your favorite soaps or one of our special programs)
• library (a better place to study or use the computer)
• offices (say "hi" to the HMD staff or surf the Internet)
• Hillel Kosher Café, the only kosher restaurant in the city of Detroit (it's great and inexpensive!).

HMD is open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday.

Directions to HMD at Wayne State University (from the North):
Take the Lodge South to the Forest/Warren Exit. Turn left across the bridge and turn left so that you are travelling North on the Lodge Service Drive. Go straight at the light and you will see parking structures on both the right and the left. Park in one of these structures. To get to HMD, cross Anthony Wayne Drive and walk straight to the Student Center Building (you will see "Tubby's" on the first floor). We are on the sixth floor, room #667. Parking in the parking structures costs $1; parking cards can be purchased from machines located in the parking structures or in the Student Center Building. You will need a parking card to leave the parking structure.
