Location
EMU Hillel is located in 116 Goodison Hall, in the center of campus at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. To get there from the metropolitan Detroit area: take I-696 West to I-275 South. At M14 get off at exit 10 (Ford Road). Stay on Ford Road until you reach Prospect. Take a left on Prospect (going South) and turn right on Cross Street (going West). You will see a large water tower on the left. Pass Welch Hall and turn right in McKenny Union, which is on the right just after Welch Hall. Once you are in the McKenny Union parking lot, walk to the back of the building and keep following the sidewalk until you reach Welch Hall. At Welch Hall, turn right. Goodison Hall is connected to King Hall (which you will see on your left). Hillel is located at 116 Goodison. To get the directions to EMU from anywhere else, click here. Relationship to HMD
EMU Hillel is a part of Hillel of Metropolitan Detroit, based at Wayne State University, which provides community-wide social, social action, Jewish awareness, UJA and sporting events for Jewish students and young adults throughout the metropolitan Detroit area. Because of this newly established connection with HMD, Jewish students who attend EMU can participate in programs in both Ypsilanti and the metropolitan Detroit area!
